Goal

Catch suspicious card transactions as they happen, not the next day, so the fraud team can act in time.

What I did

  • Designed the real-time fraud review service on Apache Flink.
  • Transaction events arrived through Kafka, managed on Confluent.
  • Flink computed signals over time windows and applied the review rules, flagging suspicious transactions for the fraud team.
